The most parking will cost you on the street is $2 and hour which is in the so called “premium demand zones”. Outside those zones, the cost is 75 cents an hour. That said, Washington D.C is one of the toughest places to find parking in the country. There are other options including DC parking garages and lots. The hours of enforcement have been extended to 10pm.
